The Ibero-American Nutrition Foundation (Fundación Iberoamericana de Nutrición – FINUT) is organising a free online webinar about sweet taste and low calorie sweeteners with the participation of seven well-renowned academics and respected expert scientists from Spain and five different countries of Latin America (Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Paraguay, Uruguay). The webinar, which will be held in Spanish, will take place on 10th April 2019, at 16h00 CEST (Spain time).
The 2-hour webinar includes a rich scientific programme covering various topics regarding the science of sweet taste and low calorie sweeteners, including aspects around the safety, characteristics, regulation and benefits of low calorie sweeteners. The programme also includes a talk about low calorie sweeteners and gut microbiota by the FINUT president, Prof Angel Gil, as well as a final session with live questions and answers from the speakers.
The scientific programme of the FINUT webinar on low calorie sweeteners includes seven 15-minute talks by experts, followed by a Q&As session:
