Andrew Renwick is Emeritus Professor at the School of Medicine at the University of Southampton and has published over 180 original research papers and 35 book chapters.
He has served as a member of a number of Government Advisory Committees in the United Kingdom, and he was awarded an OBE (Officer of the Order of the British Empire) in the New Years Honours List in 2000. He was an advisor to the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) for two years and has been an advisor to the World Health Organisation for over 12 years.
