ISA Participating at the 14th EFAD Congress

The International Sweeteners Association (ISA) is delighted to be supporting, as well as attending, the 14th edition of the EFAD Congress, organised by the European Federation of the Associations of Dietitians (EFAD), in Bupadest, Hungary, on 12-14 October 2023.

Focusing on the theme of “Dietetic Care, a Human Right: Moving Forward into a New Era,” this in-person event will bring together more than 350 dietitians across Europe to exchange knowledge and discuss all the latest evidence-based information on nutrition and dietetics across the lifespan.

Acknowledging the important role that dietitians play in raising awareness of a healthy diet and of the right to dietetic care for all, the ISA is proudly participating at the 2023 EFAD Congress with an ISA information booth in the exhibition area on 13-14 October.

About the ISA booth

The ISA information booth will host the ISA resources for healthcare professionals, including the just published ISA booklet “Low/No Calorie Sweeteners: Role and Benefits – A Guide to the Science of Low/No Calorie Sweeteners. By visiting the ISA booth, you will have the opportunity to receive a printed copy of the 5th edition of the ISA booklet, as well as further resources for health professionals.

We are excited to connect again in person with dietitians participating at EFAD Congress 2023, which gives us the opportunity to answer your questions and discuss all the latest evidence, reports and recommendations on the use and benefits of low/no calorie sweeteners.

We therefore look forward to welcoming you all at the ISA information booth at the EFAD Congress 2023 exhibition area, to answer any question you might have in relation to low/no calorie sweeteners’ use, safety, benefits and role in the human diet.

We hope to see you in Budapest!
