On the occasion of the 24th European Congress on Obesity in May 2017, in Porto, Dr John Sievenpiper presented an overview of the existing high quality evidence from systematic reviews and meta-analyses of randomised controlled trials (RCTs), including latest research data on low calorie sweeteners' role in weight control. In this interview, Dr Sievenpiper tells us more about the motivations behind the network meta-analysis on low calorie sweeteners' effect on weight loss conducted very recently.
